Emma had a three-hour school musical rehearsal this morning. So the little gals and I decided we'd fill the time by going to the Butterfly Pavilion. We got there shortly after they opened so the crowds were not bad...and we managed to be leaving right when the school buses were pulling up.

District Bee

Hoowee! Emma came in 17th in the District Spelling Bee held this evening. The word that tripped her up was psychoanalysis. There are just way too many letters in that word!! She said she'll never ever forget how to spell that word for all of eternity!
We're so proud of her--she's so brave--a lot more brave than her mom ever was!
Way to go, Emma!!
