Emma-Middle School Spelling Bee
If your child finds himself in a Spelling Bee with one of my children, he should probably just take a seat. haha. Scalene won Emma the championship round...see...math does come in handy! Now Emma & Julia will be going against each other in the District Bee in February...!!!

Spelling Bee Final Words
Julia was in her school's Spelling Bee this morning. Here is the end of the Championship round of the Bee with Julia & her friend (and classmate), Olivia.

happy new year
We ended our year with a fantastic trip to Pompeii (at the museum) followed by our traditional, decadent ice cream sundaes and a little Sleepless in Seattle before watching the ball drop in Times Square. Happy 2013!
Now I can start my resolution to "get some abs." (Once all that sundae stuff is gone, that is).
