Happy Birthday, Dear Sophie

Most days lately, I feel like it would be okay if a crazy wild bear came into my yard and devoured me alive...but just not today! Today is our Sophie's 11th birthday & I wouldn't miss it for the world! She is a sweet, bright light in our lives and one of the nicest kids you'll ever meet!

4/13 meet

Here is Sophie's breast stroke from today's meet.  She came in first by a hair...her 3rd first of the meet. Hooray! There was an issue with a lane line going rogue and coming unattached from the pool...that's the delay in the start of the race.

Lady Luck

Sophie's 5th grade performed their smashing musical, "Joust" today.  She had a speaking part & the songs were rousingly fun steps back into medieval England!  Beautiful job, Sophie...ahem...Lady Luck!!
