We went and got ourselves a craft kit & made pretty little decorative bowls today! It was a nice afternoon listening to a Roald Dahl book on tape (CD) & just being crafty.




I'm sure they will cook up nicely...

Actually this is so true! I love that my kids couldn't part with their favorite t-shirts when I was weeding out stuff in their closets. I love the trips we took to get the the shirts, and I love the memory of seeing them wearing them when they were little.

So...for Valentine's Day, instead of giving the old, too-small shirts away, I had a Martha moment and made their favorite little T's into pillows so they can rest their heads upon them and remember fun times! Happy Valentine's Day!

(p.s. We didn't actually go to London together, that London shirt was Emma's favorite-wear-every-other-day shirt before she started school--good times!)

Sophie finally got to make a box for her school Valentine's Day party. Every other year, her class just made bags during school, but this year, they got to decorate their own at home...everyone else around here has done it--but not her! Weird, right? Anyway, this was her big chance & I think it was a success...Sophie's Valentine Zoo...
