Pueblo

Emma had to make a Native American-related project for class. On Tuesday, her teacher sent home an 'idea packet' with directions for making a drum, Kachina doll, medicine bag etc. (due Friday) but she decided to venture out on her own & make a Pueblo Indian 'adobe' house out of some boxes, sticks, a hot glue gun & a little papier mache.
Ok--kind of a lot of papier mache, which we tried to color with cinnamon & cocoa while we were mixing it. Don't try that. It doesn't work but it sure makes it smell real nice! Luckily her mom is a paint fanatic & had lots of spare paint in the basement to mix & make a decent clay color.
I thought she did a great job...it turned out cool & Pueblo'ish
