Emma-Middle School Spelling Bee
If your child finds himself in a Spelling Bee with one of my children, he should probably just take a seat. haha. Scalene won Emma the championship round...see...math does come in handy! Now Emma & Julia will be going against each other in the District Bee in February...!!!

I would have had to ask for the part of speech on "meandrous." Having never heard that word, I was picturing "meanderess," as in a lady who meanders. Knowing it was an adj. & not a noun would've helped me.

Never play cards with Emma--she maintains a great
poker-face throughout the competition.
The back-and-forth between the 2 at the end was
nerve-wracking. whew!!
