Happy Birthday Sophie

Sophie had a whirlwind birthday weekend. She started with a trip to the movies with a couple of friends...and a couple of sisters...to see the docu-movie, Chimpanzee. Seems she has an affinity for the primate world like her mother does! Woohoo! We followed that up with lunch at the park. A rather mellow birthday party by 10-yr old standards, but the girls all seemed to enjoy it.

Party Part deux commenced on Sunday with a fun family party followed by a trip to the Botanic Gardens...free day at the Botanic Gardens. So let me rephrase that. It was a trip to the Botanic Gardens with just about every other free-seeking Colorado resident...and their brother. But we got to see some cool catci, super-sized tulips, and sweet-smelling lilacs.
